Climate Change – Code Red For Humanity
From the deadly floods in Germany to scorching heat in Canada and a deluge in the Black Sea region, extreme weather events are becoming commonplace in the daily news. As COP26 approaches, our panel of experts will discuss our planets climate – is man-made climate change really to blame? What can we do to save the planet and how will this change the way we all live?
With Dr Alice Bell a climate campaigner and writer; Professor Peter Stott, a Science Fellow in Climate Attribution at the Met Office’s Hadley Centre and two Flint authors – Alister Doyle (The Great Melt), award-winning journalist who has covered climate change for almost two decades; and Claire Bradbury (Dwellbeing), a sustainable futures specialist with a background in law and international development.
This is a ticketed event as part of Harrogate Literature Festival. Tickets cost £14 and are available to purchase through the Harrogate Literature Festival website.
